Q: How Can I pay for my rental?
A: We accept Wire Transfers, PayPal or Canadian Email Transfers (only for Canadians)
* Wire Transfer Fees are $35.00 USD. Wire Transfers can be made to either our Canadian bank account, our Canadian USD bank account or our Mexican Bank Account.
* Canadian Email Transfers can be made direct to our Canadian Bank Account once a currency exchange has been completed. We will be happy to do a Currency Exchange for you previous to your deposit. (Email Transfers are free of cost)
* PayPal fees are 4.8 % of the total rental amount.

Q: How much of the rental amount is necessary to hold my rental reservation?
A: A deposit of 50% is required to hold the reservation. (Except during Holiday or High Season…then total amount of the Rental is required) (Reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of deposit).

Q: How do I check in?
A: Once your reservation is confirmed we will send you a flight arrival sheet, that you will need to fill out and send back to us, so that we can meet you at your rental location (8:00 am – 7:00 pm) After hours we will send you self check in details. We will always meet you to check you in, during normal check in times and go over the condo, and answer any of your questions.

Q: How do we get from the airport to our rental?
A: We will be happy to arrange a shuttle to and from the airport, at an additional fee. Terms and conditions apply.

Q: What is an Inventory check list and why is it required? Why is an Inventory Security deposit required?
A: An Inventory check list is an accounting of all the items that are in the Condo rental unit, items like pots & pans, toaster, linens…etc. An Inventory check list is required, because the unit is fully stocked. The Refundable Security Deposit covers damages or losses.

Q: How is my refundable security deposit returned?
A: Upon Inventory recheck the deposit will be repaid as quickly as possible, by either email transfer or by PayPal.

Q: We realize that renting a Condo is quite different than staying in a Hotel; do we receive maid or cleaning services daily with our Condo rental?
A: We do a cleaning right before check in, and will be happy to arrange a cleaning/maid service daily/weekly or twice weekly (or whatever you require) for you, at an extra cost of $40.00 USD for each clean. This will need to be arranged with your initial reservation.
All monthly rentals are required to pay for a general weekly cleaning.

Q: Are any pets allowed?
A: At this time we are allowing small quiet pocket dogs, this will also require a Pet Contract and a Security deposit of $500.00 USD (fully refundable after check out). This must be arranged with your initial reservation.

Q: What kind of Condo are we staying in, and how many Condos are in this building?
A: The Penthouses of the Royal Oasis is a smaller quiet building with 12 individually owned Condos. Penthouse Casa 88 is a 1 bedroom Penthouse is just above Condo Studio 1A, and is approximately 1800 sq ft. (101 m2) and also has marble floors, shower and custom cabinetry, with the added bonus of a private roof top Jacuzzi. We also have a large 20 Meter Lap Pool and a Master Black Granite Jacuzzi. We also have Condo Studio Suite 1A a ground floor studio approximately 600 sq feet (36 m2) with marble floors, shower and custom cabinetry, that has a private 260 sq foot (24 m2) terrace.

Q: Where exactly are the Penthouses of the Royal Oasis located in Playa del Carmen?
A: Penthouses of the Royal Oasis is located on the corner of Calle 26 and 1st Avenida and is one block off the famous fifth avenue, it is surrounded by a myriad of cafes, restaurants and colorful Mexican handicraft shops and is just steps away from Mamitas Beach, the most famous, hip and beautiful sugar white beach in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Q: Are there any other amenities offered at the Penthouses of the Royal Oasis?
A: Yes there a, we offer 24 Hr. Security – High Speed Wireless Internet – Secured Underground Parking – Secured Safe Concierge Service (required request) * Apple TV for Netflix * Cable TV *Simmons Pillow top Mattress including Hotel Quality Bedding * In-line water purifier/purified drinking water

Q: Is this rental Wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes it is to the main floor in the 1 Bedroom Penthouse and all of the Condo Studio, as well we have an elevator that provides access to both the garage, garden area and pool area.

Q: What if we have to cancel? What are your rental policies?
A: Cancellation Policy and Refunds
60 + days in advance – Deposit minus $100 USD will be refunded
30 – 60 days in advance – 50% of deposit will be refunded
Less than 30 days – No deposit will be refunded
In the event you are unable to travel due to hurricanes – Deposit minus $50 USD will be refunded
The above applies; Except during holiday and high season, all deposit amounts will be held in full.
High season is December 15- January 15th and Easter/Holy weeks (these fluctuate)
